are 2 bus services that connect both Terminals 1 &
2 to the city centre (more specifically Sofia
University). Travel time is about 20 minutes,
depending on traffic conditions.

Central railway station in Sofia, located in the
wide center of the city.

the administrative center of the city and the main
boulevard “Vitosha”. The tram stations are about
50 m straight from the main exit of the railway
station.

bus station of Sofia, which is located next to the
railway station in the center of the city or
arriving at the bus station’s sublevel, the
Traffic Market, located right next to the Central
bus station and in front of the Central Railway
station.

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY THE FOLLOWING:

Please submit documents for a visa to the
Bulgarian embassy in your country ONLY if you’ve
received the official e-mail from SOFIMUN,
indicating you’re accepted as participant.

Please, make sure you’ll apply for a visa for
Bulgaria on time. The visa-procedure might take a
few weeks (10-15 days approximately if all forms
are submitted on time). Apply for a visa ONLY if
you have received a confirmation e-mail you’ve
been accepted as SOFIMUN 2009 participant.

Please note that participation on SOFIMUN does not
necessarily provide you with a visa. Visa
permission is to be decided upon the specific
requirements and documents needed according to the
procedure that Republic of Bulgaria has with your
country.

Please note that SOFIMUN does not cover your visa
expenses, so as your travel expenses.

Please note that SOFIMUN will send a special
invitation for you to you, the Bulgarian embassy
in your country (in case there isn’t such, to the
one appointed to serve your nationality) and the
Bulgarian Foreign Ministry. This letter will
include our statement that you’re accepted as
participant on SOFIMUN, your international
passport names and your international passport
number. You have to carry your letter to the
Bulgarian embassy when submitting your documents.

Please note that SOFIMUN does not have any
responsibility for incorrect data, provided by
you.

Please note that visa for participation on SOFIMUN
provides you with permission to stay in Bulgaria
ONLY for the period of the conference or for some
additional days (depends on the type of the visa).
After the expiry of the period, indicated in your
visa, you have to leave the country. SOFIMUN is
not responsible for you before 18-th of July 2009
and after 25-th of July 2009.
