is the draft programme of the SOFIMUN event in the
period 18-25 July 2009 in Sofia, Bulgaria.
IMPORTANT:

Please, note that your presence during the
conference is obligatory, including Opening and
Closing Ceremonies.

Please, note that the official dress code for
participants during the conference sessions
(09:00- 18:30) is FORMAL. The dress code for the
gala evenings is ELEGANT (for more details,
please, see "Carnival of nations" part below).

Please, note that this is the draft program of the
event. Any further changes will be added to the
final version.
ADDITIONAL PROGRAM INFORMATION:
During
conference days, participants in the 2-nd edition
of SOFIMUN will have number of additional event,
added to the event’s program, such as:

Academic lectures and guest lectors
-
Receptions
-
Cultural events - museum visits, presentation of
nations
-
Initiatives with the active participation of the
delegates
- As
another addition to the program in its
non-official part, after the daily sessions,
parties for SOFIMUN participants will be
organized, plus two official gala dinners.

SOFIMUN believes that of big importance
for a successful implementation of the
ideas of UN, such as dialogue and mutual
support between nations the knowledge of
cultures. This is why for its 2-nd
edition, SOFIMUN will offer to its
participants an unique experience,
called “Carnival of Nations”. The idea
of this event is to present the variety
of cultures, present at SOFIMUN 2009 by
their traditional beverages, costumes
and music. The event will be organized
as a masquerade ball (carnival) with
disguises and beverages and music,
provided by the participants. |
